Lonely Set of Tracks
While doing a photo shoot with my wife, I felt a need to take a photo of some tracks that pretty much don't see any use by Union Pacific. As a matter of fact, they have been "abandoned" in a filing with the Federal Surface Transportation Board.
I have spent many a childhood day along these tracks hoping to see a train go by.

Your view is breathtaking Batty, the pictures feel good :) they make you stop and pull you in , verrrrry nice work !
I like the softer texture in the foreground and what feels like sharpness in the distance. In addition, the bright color of the trees contrasting with the almost washed out feel from the stones and faded wood add to this odd effect. Very nice.
